NAPOR-ISO-005 Scale Inhibitor
Purpose and scope of application
NAPOR-ISO-005 is a highly active, multi-component scale inhibitor designed to prevent the formation of carbonate (CaCO₃), sulfate (CaSO₄, BaSO₄), and halite deposits in oilfield systems characterized by extremely high formation water mineralization. It is used during oil production, processing, and transportation stages.
The reagent is a phosphonic acid-based composition with potent scale-inhibiting properties. The NAPOR-ISO-005 formula features the highest concentration of non-volatile active ingredients within the ISO product line, ensuring stable performance under the most challenging saline and hydrogeochemical conditions.
The product retains its fluidity and performance characteristics at ambient temperatures as low as -50°C, making it suitable for use in northern regions and at facilities requiring year-round operation. NAPOR-ISO-005 is fully soluble in mineralized water and disperses effectively in oil, ensuring uniform distribution throughout the process system, even at high dosage rates.
The inhibitor exhibits low corrosivity toward carbon steel, allowing for both continuous and batch dosing without the risk of accelerated equipment wear. The formulation is free of organochlorine compounds, complying with industrial safety and environmental protection standards.
The ISO-005 grade is recommended for use in well stock, pressure maintenance systems, oil gathering lines, and other oilfield equipment where maximum scale inhibition efficiency is required under conditions of extremely high salt loads.
