Purpose and scope of application
NAPOR-ISO-003 is a multi-component scale inhibitor designed to prevent the formation of carbonate (CaCO₃), sulfate (CaSO₄, BaSO₄), and halite deposits in oilfield systems. It is used at all stages of the production cycle - from extraction and processing to oil transportation.
The reagent is a phosphonic acid-based composition with targeted inhibitory action in highly mineralized environments. The NAPOR-ISO-003 formula is optimized for systems with high salt loads, where higher concentrations of active components are required while maintaining stable rheological properties.
The inhibitor performs effectively at low temperatures, including ambient temperatures as low as -50°C, making it suitable for use in northern and remote regions. The product is highly soluble in mineralized water and dispersible in oil, ensuring uniform distribution of the active ingredients throughout the system.
NAPOR-ISO-003 exhibits low corrosivity toward carbon steel, allowing for its use in both continuous and batch dosing regimens without the risk of accelerated equipment wear. The composition is free of organochlorine compounds, meeting industrial and environmental safety standards.
The ISO-003 grade is used in wellbores, oil gathering lines, reservoir pressure maintenance (RPM) systems, and other oilfield infrastructure components where stable scale inhibition is required amidst high formation water mineralization.
