Purpose and scope of application
NAPOR-ISO-001 is a multicomponent scale inhibitor based on phosphonic acids, designed to prevent the formation of carbonate (CaCO₃), sulfate (CaSO₄, BaSO₄), and halite deposits in oilfield equipment. The product is used during oil production, treatment, and transportation in systems containing mineralized formation water.
The reagent is a homogeneous liquid ranging in color from colorless to brown, with no signs of phase separation. The composition of NAPOR-ISO-001 ensures targeted inhibition of salts prone to crystallization and precipitation in pipelines, pumping equipment, and oil gathering systems.
NAPOR-ISO-001 is characterized by low corrosivity toward carbon steel, allowing for its use in field systems without posing additional corrosion risks to the equipment. Corrosion rate metrics meet the requirements for well stock and other operational applications.
The reagent is highly soluble in mineralized water and dispersible in oil, ensuring uniform distribution within the process medium and a stable inhibitory effect. Its low viscosity at operating temperatures facilitates dosing and injection into the system.
NAPOR-ISO-001 retains its performance properties at low temperatures—including conditions as cold as -50°C—making it suitable for use in facilities with low-temperature operating regimes. The absence of organochlorine compounds reduces environmental and operational risks associated with industrial use. The selection of the inhibitor grade, dosage regimen, and application conditions is determined based on the salt composition of formation waters, temperature, mineralization, and the parameters of the specific site.
