Purpose and scope of application
TU 2458−026−12 966 038−2011 (incl. Amendments 1–3)
NAPOR-1014 is a mixture of a quaternary pyridinium salt, an organic acid, a cationic phosphorus-containing surfactant, and a non-ionic surfactant in a blend of organic solvents. It is designed to protect oilfield equipment during oil production, as well as pipelines transporting water-cut oil emulsions and wastewater containing dissolved hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide, against corrosion.
The protective efficiency is 90% in a standard mineralized water solution containing H2S and CO2, at a NAPOR-1014 concentration of no more than 25 mg/dm³.
The product does not adversely affect the oil treatment process or degrade oil quality. Neither the inhibitor nor its decomposition products poison catalysts used in oil refining or impair the quality of petroleum products.
