Purpose and scope of application
NAPOR-1012 corrosion inhibitor/bactericide is a mixture of a non-ionic surfactant and a cationic phosphorus-containing surfactant in a blend of organic solvents. It is designed to protect downhole equipment during oil extraction, as well as pipelines transporting water-cut oil emulsions and wastewater containing dissolved hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide, and to inhibit the growth of sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB).
The SRB inhibition rate is 100% at a NAPOR-1012 concentration of no more than 100 mg/dm³.
The protective efficiency is 90% in a standard mineralized water solution containing H₂S and CO₂ at a NAPOR-1012 concentration of no more than 25 mg/dm³.
The product does not adversely affect the oil treatment process or degrade oil quality. Neither the inhibitor nor its decomposition products poison catalysts used in oil refining or impair the quality of petroleum products. Introducing NAPOR-1012 into oilfield fluids inhibits the growth of sulfate-reducing bacteria.
