Purpose and scope of application
NAPOR-1012K is a corrosion inhibitor and bactericide—specifically, a concentrate used to produce the commercial-grade reagent NAPOR-1012. It is a modified version of NAPOR-1012 based on a blend of non-ionic and cationic phosphorus-containing surfactants in organic solvents.
It is designed to protect downhole equipment during oil extraction, as well as pipelines transporting water-cut oil emulsions and wastewater containing dissolved hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide. It simultaneously inhibits the growth of sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB).
In a standard mineralized water solution containing H₂S and CO₂, the protective efficiency is 90% at a reagent concentration of no more than 25 mg/dm³. The SRB inhibition rate reaches 100% at a concentration of no more than 100 mg/dm³.
Grade 1012K is characterized by a higher amine value (at least 90 mg HClO₄/g), a higher phosphorus mass fraction (at least 2.4%), and an active ingredient content of 40% (±10%); these factors are taken into account when determining dosage rates. There is no specified pour point.
NAPOR-1012K does not adversely affect the oil treatment process or degrade the quality of commercial-grade oil. Neither the product itself nor its decomposition products poison downstream processing catalysts or impair the quality of petroleum products.
It is manufactured in accordance with Technical Specifications (TU) 2458−025−12966038−2010 (including Amendments 1–7).
