Purpose and scope of application
NAPOR-1010-V
NAPOR-1010-V corrosion inhibitor/bactericide is a concentrate used to produce commercial grades (A and B) of the NAPOR-1010 corrosion inhibitor/bactericide; it consists of a cationic phosphorus-containing surfactant in a mixture of organic solvents. It is designed to protect oilfield equipment from corrosion in environments containing hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and carbon dioxide (CO₂), as well as to inhibit the growth of sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB).
It is used in oil extraction, gathering, and transportation processes involving equipment operation in H₂S- and CO₂-containing environments. Introducing the reagent into oilfield fluids provides corrosion protection and reduces microbiological activity.
Grade V is characterized by a higher active ingredient content—60% (±10%)—an amine value of 66 mg HClO₄/g, and a phosphorus mass fraction of at least 1.8%. These parameters are taken into account when determining dosage regimens and calculating concentrations for specific operational conditions.
The reagent does not adversely affect oil treatment processes or degrade the quality of commercial-grade oil. Neither the inhibitor nor its decomposition products poison the catalysts used in oil refining.
It is manufactured in accordance with Technical Specifications (TU) 2458−021−12966038−2006 (including Amendments No. 1 and 6).
