Purpose and scope of application
NAPOR-1010-B
NAPOR-1010-B is a corrosion inhibitor and bactericide consisting of a cationic phosphorus-containing surfactant in a mixture of organic solvents. It is designed to protect oilfield equipment from corrosion in environments containing hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and carbon dioxide (CO₂), as well as to inhibit the growth of sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB).
It is used in oil production, gathering, and transportation systems where equipment operates in H₂S- and CO₂-containing environments. Introducing the reagent into process fluids provides corrosion protection and reduces microbiological activity.
For the NAPOR-1010-B grade, the specific dosage required to ensure a protective effect of at least 90% in a standard mineralized water solution containing 100 mg/L of H₂S is no more than 20 mg/dm³.
Grade B is characterized by an amine value of 33 mg HClO₄/g, an active ingredient content of 30% (±10%), and a phosphorus content of at least 0.9%. The pour point is −50 °C or lower.
The reagent does not adversely affect the oil treatment process or degrade the quality of the commercial crude oil. Neither the inhibitor nor its decomposition products poison the catalysts used in oil refining.
It is manufactured in accordance with Technical Specifications (TU) 2458−021−12966038−2006 (including Amendments No. 1 and 6).
