Notably, among those with no prior experience in the industrial sector, over 83% view employment at industrial enterprises as attractive and promising. Only 17% of respondents described such work as unappealing, according to a study by the petrochemical company Napor, a copy of which was obtained by TASS.

Russians identified the oil and fuel industries as the most attractive sectors. Light industry ranked second in popularity, followed by biotechnology in third place. Survey participants cited the industry's prestige (44%), its stability compared to other sectors (33%), and long-term prospects over the next 5–10 years (30%) as key advantages of working in the field. Salary levels ranked fourth among the factors contributing to the sector's appeal, noted by 28% of respondents. The study was conducted in November and December 2025, surveying 5,000 respondents across Russia via online questionnaires and telephone interviews.
