Purpose and scope of application
TU 20.59.59-004-12966038-2019 (with Amendments No. 1–2).
Amfikor corrosion inhibitor is a solution of salts derived from nitrogen- and phosphorus-containing compounds.
Amfikor is a water-soluble corrosion inhibitor designed to protect oilfield equipment from corrosion in highly mineralized environments containing hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide. To effectively protect water pipelines, oil gathering lines, and other oilfield equipment, the inhibitor is dosed into oil-water emulsions or produced water at a concentration of 15–50 g/m³. The product's high anti-corrosion efficiency is confirmed by field application results at operations belonging to oil companies such as Bashneft, Tatneft, Komineft, and Udmurtneft.
At low temperatures (+10°C), Amfikor significantly reduces the viscosity of oil-water emulsions (by a factor of 2–4) without breaking the emulsion, thereby lowering in-pipe pressure during transport. It exhibits a synergistic effect with many types of demulsifiers, enhancing their performance and allowing for reduced demulsifier dosage rates.
It is widely used in oil production by injecting it into the well annulus 1–2 times a month at a dosage of 50–100 g/m³ of the daily fluid volume.
Amfikor does not adversely affect the oil treatment process or the quality of the produced commercial oil and its refined products.
