Purpose and scope of application
Alpan corrosion inhibitor is a solution containing a complex of water-soluble nitrogen- and phosphorus-bearing derivatives. The product is designed to protect oilfield equipment from corrosion in environments containing oxygen and/or hydrogen sulfide. Maximum effectiveness is achieved at elevated oxygen levels—up to 4 mg/L.
Alpan is used to protect water pipelines, oil gathering lines, and other field equipment. To ensure corrosion protection, the reagent is dosed into oil-water emulsions or produced water at concentrations ranging from 30 to 50 g/m³. The specific dosage is determined by operating conditions and the characteristics of the medium. Its high corrosion-inhibition efficiency has been confirmed through industrial application at facilities operated by PJSC Tatneft and PJSC Rosneft, as well as at smaller oil companies.
Alpan does not adversely affect the oil treatment process or the quality of the commercial crude oil. Toxicological studies classify it as a Hazard Class 3 substance (moderately hazardous).
It is manufactured in accordance with Technical Specifications (TU) 39-12966038-006-98 (including Amendments 1–4).
