ALTSID – a reagent for the comprehensive protection of oilfield equipment
ALTSID
TU 20.59.59-035-12966038-2025
ALCID is a cutting-edge product developed by JSC NAPOR—a multifunctional reagent that combines the properties of a highly effective bactericide and a corrosion inhibitor. It is designed to reliably protect equipment in oil gathering and treatment systems, suppress microbiologically influenced corrosion, and extend the service life of oilfield equipment between overhauls.
Comprehensive "3-in-1" action
Effective bactericide: Eliminates 100% of bacteria—including sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB)—in both planktonic and sessile (adhered) forms.
Reliable corrosion inhibitor: Protects equipment against corrosion in environments containing hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and carbon dioxide (CO₂).
Viscosity reducer: Improves fluid rheology, facilitating the transport of oilfield fluids.
Free of organochlorine compounds (OCCs). The formulation is safe for downstream technological processes and does not impair the performance of demulsifiers.

What is the distinctive feature of the ALTSID reagent compared to the separate use of an inhibitor and a bactericide?
Bacterial inhibition, including that of sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB), reaches 100% at a concentration of 150–200 g/m³. It is effective against both planktonic forms and biofilms.
What level of SVB suppression is achieved?
ALCID combines the functions of a corrosion inhibitor and a bactericide in a single product. This makes it possible to simultaneously suppress sulfate-reducing bacteria and reduce the corrosivity of the medium without the separate injection of multiple reagents.
ALCID does not contain organochlorine compounds (OCCs), does not impair the properties of demulsifiers, and has no adverse effect on subsequent processing operations.
Does the product affect subsequent technological processes?
Corrosion protection in H₂S- and CO₂-containing environments is at least 90% at a dosage of up to 25 mg/dm³.
